The 22nd Frank Sinatra Celebrity Invitational, February 18-21, 2010, at Eagle Falls Golf Course and the Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio, California. The popular two day, celebrity-amateur golf tournament with three nights of dinner parties, entertainment, auctions and a spectacular luncheon fashion show are all dedicated to the memory and music of Frank Sinatra.
Volunteers have been an integral part of the Frank Sinatra Celebrity Invitational since its inception over two decades ago. Fond memories, good times, great friendships and support of a worthwhile charity are the hallmarks of the Frank Sinatra Celebrity Invitational volunteer team, affectionately known as “Frank’s Force.”
Barbara and Frank Sinatra founded the Frank Sinatra Celebrity Invitational in 1988 to raise funds for the Barbara Sinatra Children's Center at Eisenhower Medical Center in Rancho Mirage, California.
Volunteers of the Frank Sinatra Celebrity Invitational donate their time and effort to benefit the non-profit Barbara Sinatra Children’s Center at Eisenhower Medical Center in Rancho Mirage, California. The Children’s Center provides counseling for abused children and focuses on prevention, community education and breaking the cycle of abuse. Barbara Sinatra is proud to say, “No child is turned away due to a family’s inability to pay.”
The 22nd Frank Sinatra Celebrity Invitational is actively recruiting volunteers who are good “team players” and will conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times. Volunteer duties include, but are not limited to, Marshals, Food & Beverage, Shuttle Service, Hospitality, Retail and more.
Volunteers are asked to plan on two days of duties; schedules vary according to assignments. Uniform shirt/jacket and on-duty meals are provided for most volunteer assignments. Volunteer orientation is mandatory. Applications are welcome from groups such as country clubs, organizations, neighborhoods and friends who enjoy working together for a common cause.
There is no guarantee a position will be assigned for each applicant. The first step is to print, complete and return the Volunteer Application, as specified on the Application.
